Blue Tree, Phuket’s premier family entertainment destination, is gearing up for an action-packed festive season this December, with an amazing array of upbeat activities and inspiring events to keep all ages entertained and engaged.

Nestled in 56 acres of nature in the heart of Phuket’s tourist area of Cherng Talay, this exhilarating destination showcases a sparkling lagoon with thrilling slides and rides, ziplines, cliff-jumping platforms, water sports, splash zones, sandy beaches and more, along with 5km of jogging and cycling paths, soft play areas, kids’ clubs, a brand-new skatepark, boutique shopping, restaurants and bars, and concert venues and art shows all under the same roof and operated in a genuinely sustainable way.

With such an unparalleled array of attractions, Blue Tree presents the perfect option for family holidays and end-of-year escapes. To make this festive season even more magical, visitors can take advantage of a full calendar of events.

Guests can stock up on all their Christmas shopping at the “Wansao Market” (4 & 18 December). This free-to-enter fair features a wonderful range of independent fashion, jewellery and gift stalls, plus snacks and sips for everyone, accompanied by live music, arts & crafts and more. Shoppers can also soak up the festive spirit at the “Sanook Market”, a charming Thai version of a European Christmas fair, which runs from 24-31 December.

Fine food also takes centre stage this December, as Blue Tree hosts a series of enticing culinary occasions. Supported by the Ministry of Culture, the “Thai Taste Therapy” sessions (10-12 December) will blend the Thai traditions of gastronomy and wellness, while the “Roy Teen Lay – Phuket Food Festival” (24-26 December) will showcase the finest Southern Thai cuisine.

Then on Christmas Day (25 December), Blue Tree is celebrating in style with a full day of fun! All ages will be thrilled by the “Santa Claus Parade”, as Father Christmas and his friends come out to meet and greet guests, deliver presents and put a smile on children’s faces. Three parades will be hosted at 11.00, 16.00 and 19.00 hrs.

As the end of the year approaches, Blue Tree Lagoon will get the party started with a “Wet & Wild Concert”! Hosted on 30 December (17.00-21.00 hrs.), this sparkling show will feature live music from two popular Thai bands, Songkarn and Ebola. Still not had enough dancing? Head over to the Blue Tree Arena on 31 December for a “Mega Zumba Session” – two hours of non-stop dancing with professional Zumba instructors.

After all the excitement, Blue Tree will ease everyone gently into 2022 with a peaceful “Picnic on the Lawn”. Hosted from 15.00-20.30 hrs. on New Year’s Day, this enchanting alfresco event will let parents and children share the timeless joys of family and food – with plenty of time left for kids to make a splash in the lagoon and watch a movie at the outdoor cinema before bed.

“After a challenging year, we want to shine a ray of hope and light into people’s lives this holiday season. At Blue Tree Phuket, our commitment to fun underpins everything we do. We simply want to make our guests smile and bring loved ones closer together. This December, we’re inviting all visitors – young and old, from Thailand and overseas – to join us for a month of memorable moments and amazing experiences. Let the magic begin!” said Daniel Steinke, Managing Director, Blue Tree Phuket.
