This period (November – February) is the high season for tourists or the tourist season of Phuket. After the monsoon period, the weather is clearer and a bit colder.
The hotels will launch various promotions to welcome tourists. Some hotels offer a room rate promotion and some offer F&B promotion for the restaurant in their hotel.
This year (2020), Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort also offers a special promotion as usual. It is a dinner buffet by the beach, Karon Nui Beach or as know as Karon Noi, the beach which is in front of the hotel, really close, the price is 990 net (excluding drinks). It’s worth a try, only the beautiful view of Karon Noi Beach and the activities that they provide, a live DJ, and a fire show, all are worth.
The buffet includes Thai food, Japanese food, Indian food, Mexican food, salad, pizza, BBQ, ice cream, roti, bakery and if you want to eat lobster, they have a special price for lobster, only 500 ++ (THB) as well. All food focus on freshness served hot and newly grilled, so food will be gradually added by the staff little by little.
I would say that all food has a taste of the original as Thai food is a taste of culinary Thai cuisine. Also, the seafood is really fresh. Let me give you a big comment that the dessert menu “Roti with Banana and Egg” it is so delicious, don’t miss it.
Sight experience:
The cozy atmosphere on the beach. The buffet starts at 6:30 PM, but I recommend you to come a little early at 5:00 PM to see the Sunset.
Hearing experience:
There is a Live DJ, playing music as you ask. Well-spaced between each table so don’t have any disturb sounds from any activities interfere with each other.
Smell experience:
Open-air, fully with a pure sea aura you can inhale ozone as much as you want. This is a beach set in the uncrowded bay.
Taste experience:
Authentic taste, fresh seafood, freshly grilled BBQ. The food is shown in a small volume as the hotel staff will keep adding continually, to make sure that everyone can eat fresh and new food all the time.
Touch experience:
Comfortable seats, large chairs with cushions. Even an outdoor area but there is enough light at the table, not difficult for any activities.
